Munnar, India

April 7-8, 2018

This was a quick weekend trip with some of the other volunteers from Fort Kochi.

Munnar is well known for it’s mountainous terrane and tea plantations. During my time there, I learnt more than I ever thought possible about tea and it’s processing.

We did a beautiful hike through tea plantations – everything was insanely green.

On the second day we went on a jeep safari thingy and this is what we saw!

Wild elephants!!!!

Chill place. Mainly lots of tea! Would recommend, mainly because it actually cools off in the evenings/overnight and you can sleep at night without sweating! It’s great!

Back to Fort Kochi for more volunteering!!
